Basically, Roy is an ad writer and the founder of Wizard Academy. Remember the original “wise-ards” in Matthew chapter two? They followed a star and asked King Herod, “Where is he that is born King of the Jews? For we have seen his star in the east and have come to worship him.”
The wizard’s books and Monday Morning Memos have been a source of fascination and entertainment for his friends around the globe since 1994. His first book, The Wizard of Ads®, was voted Business Book of the Year in 1998. His second book, Secret Formulas of the Wizard of Ads, was named the Wall Street Journal’s number one Business Book in America in 1999 and became a New York Times bestseller. The third book in that trilogy, Magical Worlds of the Wizard of Ads reached bestseller status in late 2001. The Wizard’s first fiction trilogy — Destinae —is an allegory aimed at the heart of the reader. It’s sort of like Pilgrim’s Progress but the main characters are a lawyer named Intellect and a beagle named Intuition.
Roy’s days are scheduled by Corrine Taylor at 512-295-5700. Questions? Email Corrine@WizardofAds.com.
